It is the first Monday of the recess week, and I spent my day out in EHub and White Sands.

First thing I woke up in the morning was to look at the clock. It was almost 10am, so I hurried myself up and prepared to go out. Erjie woke up as well, and we had breakfast then set off. It was a KLunch at EHub, after which i thought I should be listening to songs instead of singing.

Then, we walked around EHub. We wanted to play arcade basketball, but it requires the card which needs $2 deposit. Thinking it is not really worth it we gave up the thought. Then we headed to White Sands.

It was drizzling, and I forgot to bring my umbrella.

We arrived at Pasir Ris interchange, and I was attracted by some clothes. In the end Erjie bought me a $8 purple shirt. We then headed to the arcade on the fourth level, but that requires the card as well. Since Erjie did not have any other specific place to go, I suggested to go the library. It's been too long since I last walk into a library for storybook and not reference book. Erjie left at about 4.45pm for her tuition, and I stayed and continued reading.

I browsed through the translated version of Jodi Picoult's "The Tenth Circle" and "My Sister's Keeper", and then borrowed 九把刀的《大哥大》 and a book about Mother Theresa. I suddenly realize the joy of reading again. Reading something with a storyline, without only having to memorise facts and theories.

And I prepared something for someone!

Tomorrow will be another whole day out again. I will be doing my social work visits, to Tanjong Pagar Family Service Centre and Geylang East Aged Home. Looking forward to it.
